Storage/Shelf Life
With proper care, Gourmet Portabella mushrooms have an average shelf life of
8 to 10 days.

Move mushrooms
immediately from refrigerated truck to refrigerated storage.

Mushrooms bruise
easily. Handle them as carefully as you would fresh eggs.

Store refrigerated
between 34°-38° F and 85-90% humidity,
-
Do not store near
pungent items.

Do not stack heavy
items on top of mushroom containers.

Rotate stock: first in,
first out.

Fresh mushrooms should
not be watered. This causes discoloration.

Group all mushrooms together; merchandise with salad items and allow at
least 4 linear feet of display space.
